Add sources and update a Note

Sources give a completed Note more context. You might add the meeting agenda, a project brief, lecture handouts, or names that are difficult to identify from audio alone.

  1. Open the Note and choose Sources.
  2. Open Add sources.
  3. Choose Upload files or Paste text.
  4. Add your material and a useful title, then submit it with the displayed action.
  5. Wait until extraction finishes. Open the source to check its preview.

Supported reference documents include TXT, Markdown, text-based PDF, DOCX, and PowerPoint. A scanned PDF needs OCR before Vyxora can read it. If extraction fails, check the document’s text or paste the relevant passage instead.

Sources belong to the Note you attached them to. Adding a source here does not create a separate Note in your library.

For audio Notes, Recording context lets you provide people and other background that could help interpret the recording. Use names you know, and correct or remove entries when necessary.

Detected participant names, when available from Capture, are a starting point for review. A participant list does not establish who said each line or prove everyone’s attendance.

Attaching a source does not immediately replace the generated result.

Use Refresh note when your sources are ready. You can add optional Note refresh guidance, such as “Use the agenda to clarify the decision headings.” Review the displayed usage before confirming.

Vyxora updates the Note using its saved original material and ready sources. You do not need to upload the recording again. Refreshing is AI work and is subject to your account permission and allowance.

Use the delete control beside the source and confirm when asked. Removing reference material does not remove the Note’s original recording or transcript. If the generated result also needs updating, refresh the Note afterward.

You can edit or remove Recording context through its own controls. Check any updated names and important decisions against the original material.

For missing passages in an answer, check the chat scope and citations.
