Connect an MCP client
Vyxora’s MCP connection lets a compatible AI app search and read your completed Notes and Workstreams. You sign in and approve access before the client can use your knowledge.
MCP is a connection format supported by some AI apps. Availability and setup vary by app and plan. These steps describe Vyxora’s side of the connection.
Before connecting
Section titled “Before connecting”You need a Vyxora account, saved completed material, and an AI app that supports remote MCP connections with sign-in.
Open Account → Integrations in Vyxora. Check the availability message. If the service is not enabled for live requests, wait until it becomes available rather than treating the setup page as a working connection.
Connect your client
Section titled “Connect your client”- In Vyxora, open Integrations and choose Copy endpoint.
- Open the MCP or connector settings in your AI app.
- Add the copied endpoint using that app’s remote-connection controls.
- Follow the sign-in prompt and approve read access to the intended Vyxora account.
- Ask the client to search for a completed Note you recognize.
Copy the endpoint from the workspace instead of guessing it from the website address. Keep the account you approve consistent with the account that owns your Notes.
Choose the relevant material
Section titled “Choose the relevant material”When asking a question through the connection, specify a Note or Workstream scope. The client can find relevant knowledge and return supporting material within the access you approved.
For example, ask it to find your website-launch Workstream and inspect the open decisions. Check which source it used before relying on the answer.
Understand the limits
Section titled “Understand the limits”The connection is read-only. It can search, fetch, browse project memory, and ask within an explicit scope. It cannot create, edit, delete, or upload Vyxora data.
It does not expose raw audio, complete transcripts, or uploaded documents through the bridge. An external request does not create a new saved Vyxora chat.
If setup fails
Section titled “If setup fails”Check whether your client supports the required remote connection and sign-in flow. Recheck the endpoint, account, and availability message. A compatible client can still have its own plan or administrator restrictions.
For Vyxora-side errors, contact support with the client name, visible error, and steps you tried. Never send sign-in tokens or credentials.
